Hello friends, it’s been a while on here! Oh, how much I’ve missed this space. I trust you’re faring well. I’m here now so let’s get right into this topic.
This isn’t going to be long, It is geared towards rattling our minds a little and encouraging us to see ourselves differently if we truly want to experience and enjoy better results.
In layman’s English, How do you see yourself? Who are you? What are the things you feel you can do? What kind of environment do you often visit? Who are the people you hang out with? I would want you to answer these questions before we move on. Done? great! let’s move on.
I tell you dear friends that your perception of yourself ultimately informs what happens around you, the kind of life you live, and your decisions. If you think of yourself as a failure, you’ll certainly make silly, dumb, and wrong decisions because you’ve conditioned your mind to do so. On the other hand, if you believe you are a success, your actions, decisions would be conditioned towards achieving success. An orange tree won’t bear mangoes and vice versa. You've heard this before, right? I know, but have you taken time to think about it and resolve to change your mind and perception about yourself?
A princess would never sit in the marketplace or an open field meant for commoners, neither would she talk anyhow, act anyhow because she has a perception of who she is as royalty.
How do you see yourself, a grasshopper or a giant? A prince or a commoner, a wise man/woman or a foolish one, a strong or weak man/woman, a fighter or a weakling, a success or failure, a master or a servant, a mediocre or superior one (outstanding, excellent), would you allow imposter syndrome deprive you of your rightful place?
I hope that you don’t belittle yourself anymore, I hope that you get out of your shell, and I hope that you choose to be the giant in every facet of your life. I hope that you won’t be like the 10 spies who said in Numbers 10:33
“There we saw the giants… and we were like grasshpoppers in our own eyes, and so we were in their sight” Numbers 13:30 NKJV
but you will be like Caleb in Numbers 13:30
“ Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, “We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.” Numbers 13:30 NIV
I believe this blessed you, have a beautiful week ahead as you go through it with the right perception of yourself as a conqueror. I see you making big moves this week.
