Sometimes we all indeed go through pretty hard times, low times, confusing times, hurtful times, and much more.
In those times you feel alone, helpless, and confused and you even get to wonder if God really hears you, if He is present.
“Pile your troubles on God’s shoulders he’ll carry your load, he will help you out…” (Psalm 55:22 MSG)
I have been there too, and it wasn’t pleasant at all. But during that time, one thing kept me going, and that was talking to God regardless.
God is so loving, and He cares about you deeply. I remember during that time, my pastor during teaching mentioned how important it is for us never to stop talking to God no matter what is going on around us and no matter how we feel.
Those were my saving words. So, I decided never to stop talking to Him, I decided never to stop seeking His face, I decided never to stop fixing my gaze on Him. I decided that no matter how bad the times got, I would not stop praying. And He (God) came through for me. He smiled back at me guess what? I discovered that He never left my side, He was always there undistracted. I was the one who stop reaching out, the one who stopped talking, the one who let the distractions of life take me away from His presence and gaze.
So, today friend I encourage you never to stop talking to God even in your low times. He cares deeply about you. Don’t make the excuse of “I feel far from God right now” or “I haven’t prayed or spoken to God in a while” not to talk to God.
He wants to be the most crucial person in your life and through Him, you can do all things, climb any mountain, and walk through any storm yet have perfect inner peace. Guess what, He’ll hold your hand through it all and help you conquer.
If you ask me, I’d like to be on His side because He is the only one in the universe who will never fail me. Just start talking to Him today. Download and play that favorite worship song on repeat till you feel and receive His peace.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7 NIV)
It’s so real, it worked for me! If you want to cry, cry. If you're going to shout, shout it out loud.
But be rest assured that God hears you. He is your father. He’s your safe place, cast all your burden unto Him for He cares. Leave it at His feet, trust Him, and let Him help you.

This piece is so precious to me because I know we all go through difficult times but remember you don’t have to go through it alone. You’ve got a friend in Jesus.
If you have the slightest desire to meet Jesus Christ and make Him Lord over your life, say this prayer aloud;
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for sending your Son, Jesus to atone for my sins, by shedding His blood through death on the cross. Today, I receive and confess Jesus as my personal, Lord and Saviour. I receive forgiveness and the gift of righteousness by my faith in Him. Thank You Father as I can now declare that I am born again in the name of Jesus. Amen!
You’re welcome to the family of God.
